The holiday home is in a rural location along the dike of the picturesque river Gein. The famous artist Piet Mondriaan has captured various landscapes, farms and windmills along this river with his easel, while he was staying at an inn along the Gein. A typical Dutch environment with windmills and cows where you can enjoy cycling and walking. In the summer you can also swim in the river Het Gein.
Amsterdam is also close by: you can walk to metro station Gein in 20 minutes, which takes you to the center of Amsterdam in 25 minutes. You can drive to the P+R of metro Gaasperplas in 8 minutes by car, or to the train station of Abcoude or Weesp. And in 35 minutes you can drive to the center of Amsterdam by car.
Due to the convenient location of the nearby highways, you can reach Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Zandvoort and many other tourist attractions in the area within 45 minutes.
