FROM PIGSTY TO WORKSHOP

The holiday home has a rich history: until the 1960s, the house was a pigsty with a hayloft and the farm was leased by various farming families. Subsequently, the plot was sold by the Municipality of Amsterdam to the famous Dutch sculptor Nel van Lith. She gave sculpture lessons to Princess Beatrix (our former Queen) in the old hayloft.

FROM B&B TO HOLIDAY HOME

In May 2010 we started a Bed and Breakfast in the house because we love to travel so much ourselves and liked to let travellers enjoy this beautiful environment. Over the years, we increasingly rented out the B&B as a holiday home, after which we decided in 2020, partly due to the Corona pandemic, to stop the B&B and only rent out the house as a holiday home.

Enjoy!
